Easy Lift from SPSThe SPS Easy Lift negates the use of ladders and improves efficiencyTraditionally, lifting materials to any significant height required expensive devices and tools such as mechanical plant equipment, erection of scaffolding or, more dangerously, working off ladders. In 2005 the government introduced the 'Work at Height Regulations', which, as its overriding principal, states that "contractors must do all that is reasonably practicable to prevent anyone falling". Furthermore, where elimination of risk cannot be achieved, the use of work equipment or other measures should be employed to minimise the distance and consequences of a fall should one occur. In consultation with numerous regulatory bodies SPS has developed the Easy Lift, which far exceeds the requirements of the 2005 regulations and makes lifting materials safer and much cheaper. |
